Ahmet Baristiran: Co-founder
Ahmet Baristiran is a Co-Founder of Supply Chain Partners and a Senior Transformation and Project Leader delivering complex, multi-stakeholder transformation programmes across global supply chains. He combines deep technical project delivery expertise with direct industry experience and is known for designing and leading cross-functional initiatives that improve data integrity, strengthen governance and align reporting standards across international value chains.
Ahmet’s foundations were built over a decade in international supply chain roles, beginning with seven years as International Supply Chain Manager at Marks & Spencer, where he managed cross-border supplier relationships across apparel sourcing regions, before two and a half years as a Supply Chain Consultant at PwC, delivering supply chain diagnostics and performance improvement initiatives for major retail and FMCG clients.
Building on this foundation, Ahmet joined Whitbread in 2017 as International Supply Chain Operations & Projects Manager, working across Premier Inn and Costa Coffee, where he led service redesign and technology initiatives while maintaining operational service levels above 99%, standardised onboarding and supplier reporting processes to cut partner onboarding cycle times by 20%, and supported transition and integration activities during the Coca-Cola acquisition of Costa Coffee. From 2020 to 2024, as Global Supply Chain Transformation Director at Gong cha Global, a global FMCG and hospitality brand operating across more than 30 countries, he led cross-regional working groups to standardise reporting across 2,000+ SKUs — reducing reporting variance by 35% — delivered supply chain flow and replenishment improvements that cut lead times by 20% in priority markets, and improved on-time milestone delivery from around 70% to over 90% within a year. During this period he also led a company-wide ESG review and maturity assessment, evaluating environmental, social and governance practices against regulatory and buyer expectations and establishing a prioritised improvement roadmap.
From August 2024 to October 2025, as Interim Programme Manager and Business Transformation Consultant at Fothergill’s Seeds, a PE-backed £100m-turnover seed manufacturing and distribution business — a role extended twice on the strength of his delivery — Ahmet designed and delivered a business-critical ERP migration from Oracle NetSuite to Sage X3, achieving go-live to scope, timeline and budget with zero defects. He standardised supplier and product data across more than 5,000 SKUs, established governance forums that improved executive visibility of risk, and introduced operational KPIs that reduced exception reporting by 30%, achieving post-go-live order accuracy above 98% within four weeks and stabilising business-as-usual within six.
Ahmet holds a BSc in Environmental Science and Technology from Middlesex University, and brings systems expertise spanning Oracle NetSuite, Sage X3 and SAP S/4HANA alongside advanced governance and reporting tools, including Smartsheet.
