His career began in technical engineering roles, where he built a strong foundation in industrial electronics, equipment behaviour, and warehouse system performance. This early experience shaped his ability to diagnose operational challenges and design solutions that balance engineering feasibility with commercial practicality.

Over the years, Gary has worked across the intralogistics sector in roles that combined technical leadership, solution design, and automation development. He has delivered material‑flow assessments, warehouse layout designs, VNA system configurations, and AGV/AMR concepts for a wide range of operational environments.
