He is also the former Director of Liverpool Freeport, where he played a pivotal role in shaping one of the UK’s flagship freeport programmes, driving investment, regulatory alignment, and cross‑border trade facilitation.

His earlier career included Managing Director and operational leadership positions within major freight, shipping and distribution organisations, overseeing UK‑wide networks and international freight routes across Europe and North Africa.
